PYRAMID LAKE LODGE, Jasper

Pyramid Lake Lodge, 6 kilometres from Jasper, has rooms, suites, and lofts with modern cabin styles. Rooms feature balconies, a microwave, a mini-fridge, and air conditioning. The Whistler Suite has two sleeping areas, a kitchenette, and a shared balcony. The Tekarra Suite has three sleeping areas, a kitchenette with a two-burner cooktop, pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery. Executive Lofts feature a king bed on the main floor, a queen bed in the loft, and two bathrooms.

Aalto is located in Pyramid Lake Lodge, 6 km north of Jasper on Pyramid Lake Road, and features a menu inspired by Pyramid Lake using regional ingredients. Aalto offers a mountain-fresh take on seafood, incorporating local flavors. It is open year-round with a stone fireplace in the dining room and a patio. In the meantime, Pyramid Lake Resort guests are offered complimentary pastries, yogurt and coffee. Guests may also purchase sandwiches, salads and other snacks in the lobby. For dinner, guests are offered free delivery from Hearthstone Pizza, as well as a shuttle to Terra with a complimentary welcome drink upon arrival (shuttle runs Thursday to Monday.

Pyramid Lake Lodge provides guests with mountain bike, kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddle board rentals. Rentals are available at select times from 10 AM to 11 AM or 3 PM to close. Other amenities include an outdoor BBQ area, a fitness center, self-service laundry, an on-site meeting room, and a wedding reception venue. Snowshoe, skating, and fat bike rentals are also available. There is a charge for horse-drawn sleigh rides and cross-country skiing. Aalto has a private event space that can host receptions and group dinners for up to 60 guests.

Pyramid Lake Lodge is located 6 kilometers north of Jasper on Pyramid Lake Road. From Highway 16, exit onto Connaught Drive, turn onto Pyramid Lake Road and continue for 6 km. On-site parking is available for hotel guests. Nearby landmarks include Patricia Lake (3 km), Pyramid and Patricia Lakes (1 km), and The Den (5 km).
